I am a lifestyle photographer. This means that while I may capture a few posed images my focus is to document your family’s essence at the very moment in time. Think fly on the wall. If your little one has a favorite blanket, I encourage you to bring it to the session. Chances are they may outgrow it the following year making these images that much more special.
I have a regular shot list I mentally rotate through during a session to provide you with a plenty of images to select from. I always go with the flow and let the children lead the session a bit, this helps to avoid meltdowns and red puffy faces in the images. This also means you no longer have to bribe little ones or give them the death stare on the way to your session. You’ll get cuddly, playful, and timeless images without the stress of performing. You get a chance to pause this moment and look back at it in the years to come.
